Solar Water Heating System:

SAHARA Solar Water Heating System is based on Evacuated Tube Collector technology (ETC). Heat Collecting elements are Vacuum Glass Tubes made of
high boron silicon glass which can withstand impact of 20-25 mm hailstorm during rain .The outer wall of the inner tube is coated with selective absorbing coating by a process known as controlled sputtering aluminum nitride radiation absorber coating. Selective absorbing coating absorbs heat from sun and directly transmits it to the cold water in the tube. Hot water being lightweight rises up and flows to the 304-grade, high quality stainless steel water tank, which is excellently insulated by 50 mm thick CFC free PUF insulation The water temperature can reach 45°C-65°C after being heated a day in winter and 65°C-93°C in summer. For cloudy days an inbuilt electrical back up heating system is provided. An electronic microprocessor controller is also provided to make the system user friendly. This type of solar water heating system is more efficient cost effective and is unaffected by the hard water as its counterpart the copper tube based solar water heating system.
